The Influence of Hungarians on the Bauhaus Theater

At the attractive art university in Germany called Bauhaus studied many Hungarian students and taught as many teachers. They played a decisive role in the life of the institution, in the reform of the constructivist spirit, in the formation of the specific Bauhaus pedagogy, the modern perspective of design and architecture. After the First World War, Bauhaus became one of the most attractive destinations of Hungarian artists and students seeking new ways of expressing themselves. Hungarian artists participated actively in Bauhaus\'s experimental stage productions, with bold architectural projects (Moholy-Nagy László, Molnár Farkas, Seb?k István, Weininger Andor). Perhaps the lack of perspective in realization of the functional projects has led to the elaboration of the project of Weininger\'s Sphere Theater, a monumental vision with an emblematic form. The exhibition includes the layout made on these projects.
